Александр Рар — немецкий журналист, политолог и историк, бывший советник правительства ФРГ — ответил на вопросы зрителей и поделился своим видением причин и последствий текущего кризиса в отношениях между Россией и Западом. EUROVIEW приводит подробности.
Исторические корни непонимания между Россией и Западом
Рар указал на глубокие исторические причины текущего кризиса, уходящие корнями в события тысячелетней давности. Он подчеркнул, что раскол между западной и восточной христианскими традициями продолжает влиять на отношения сегодня.
«Мы живем в условиях раскола между Западом и Россией с 1054 года. Это была не вина России, а вина греков или римлян, которые отвергли все предложения Католической церкви. Этот раскол продолжается до сих пор. Россия стала наследницей и переняла наследие Византийской империи, а мы на Западе переняли наследие Римской империи».
Влияние идеологических различий на современную политику
Эксперт объяснил, как восемьдесят лет коммунистического правления в России создали пропасть непонимания между западными и российскими обществами. Он отметил, что западный триумфализм после холодной войны помешал подлинному примирению.
«Запад сегодня в своем триумфализме считает, что холодную войну выиграл только Запад — лучшими идеями, лучшей системой, правильными ценностями. Это ошибочный взгляд, потому что Советский Союз освободил себя от коммунизма при Горбачеве, но затем начал строить Россию».
Роль восточноевропейских стран в эскалации конфликта
Александр Рар дал критическую оценку политике стран Восточной Европы, особенно Польши и Прибалтийских государств. По его мнению, их стремление к реваншу за годы коммунизма способствовало созданию образа России как врага.
«Эти страны хотели отомстить России за 45 лет коммунизма. Они видели, что были забыты Западом после Ялты в 1945 году. Им нужен был образ врага, и Россия стала идеальным вражеским образом для них, чтобы утвердить свою новую идентичность в Европе».
Правозащитная проблематика как инструмент политики
В своем анализе эксперт затронул вопрос использования правозащитной риторики в политических целях. Он указал на избирательный подход Запада к защите прав человека в разных регионах мира.
«Когда в 2011–2012 годах Ангела Меркель хотела сформировать коалицию с «зелеными», она решила обратиться к ним и в определенной степени принесла в жертву российскую политику в пользу «зеленых», которые были самой русофобской партией в Германии в то время и имели много конфликтов с Россией по вопросам прав человека».
Будущее Украины и права населения
Рар высказал спорный, но обоснованный историческим анализом взгляд на будущее Украины. Он предположил, что разделение страны может стать единственным способом урегулирования конфликта и защиты прав различных групп населения.
«Украина была слишком большой в 1991 году, когда распался Советский Союз. Многие части Украины нуждались в своего рода автономии, как Донбасс или Крым. Они не могли оставаться в централизованном государстве Украины в 1991 году, потому что Украина никогда не существовала в истории в этих границах».
Российская перспектива и традиционные ценности
Политолог объяснил, почему российское руководство делает акцент на традиционных ценностях в противовес западным либеральным подходам. Это, по его мнению, отражает глубинные культурные различия между цивилизациями.
«Россия — более традиционная страна. Мы в Германии и на Западе придерживаемся идеалов Французской революции, прогресса, совершенно другого рода культуры, чем мир на Востоке».
Опасность ядерного конфликта и ответственность сторон
Касаясь самых тревожных аспектов современной конфронтации, Рар выразил уверенность, что ответственные политики как в России, так и на Западе понимают неприемлемость ядерной войны.
«Те люди, которые принимают эти решения, включая Россию в российском аппарате и американском аппарате, понимают это. Я уверен, потому что они унаследовали эти знания от тех поколений, которые создавали эти атомные арсеналы».
Перспективы многополярного мира и прав человека
В заключительной части анализа эксперт представил свое видение будущего мирового порядка, где доминирование Запада уступит место многополярной системе. Это, по его мнению, потребует новых подходов к защите прав человека.
«Нам нужны совершенно другие методы и многополярные институты для стабилизации мира, чтобы спасти мир от разрушения от новой ядерной войны. Я не думаю, что мы выиграем ядерную войну».

Now more than ever they are determined to force this heinous and evil project to its conclusion but the geopolitical dynamics of the world are changing and have changed and not in their favour with Russia becoming closer to China, India and other BRICS countries many of who are “non-aligned” politically or financially. Strange it is that we never hear that phrase these days “the non-aligned countries.”
The war we chose is the war we start by sending hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers into Ukraine to fight.
That is the war we, the Kremlin, have chosen.

Even the great George Kennan expressed this idea quite clearly decades before the fall of the Soviet Union, US interests are best served by ensuring continued tension between Western Europe and Russia. Without the “Russian threat” Europe has no need of the US and indeed would most naturally become a direct competitor.

It is pretty retarded to frame historical relationships and developments via names (mis)used nowadays. Europe as if Europe was some block back then. Germans following the ideals of the French Revolution… what? If you want to be kind you could ask which Germanic entities to try and find something to support such claims. And so on.
The Russia+Germany combination as a threat is outdated. The fear of it might not be! Given that most leading US politicans were born in the 1940s. But Germany today is economically irrelevant. They have no know-how, no universities, no industry, no infrastructure, no energy and no discipline. And it is populated by people who don’t want any of all of that.
Germany’s future is to recycle garbage and getting used to living with mass analphabetism. Germany would do good to look at Somalia to learn from their experiences of the kind of society that all Germans voluntarily have chosen to create for themselves. Russia is instead interested in the industrialized part of the world, i.e. not at all interested in Europe where there exists no electronics industry, no software company, no internet platform, no AI developer. They have the EU(SSR) instead.
